Centum Asset Manager’s Collective Investment Scheme

Centum Asset managers Ltd is pleased to announce the grant of approval by the Capital Markets Authority (CMA) to register the Centum Unit Trust Fund as a Collective Investment Scheme in accordance with section 30 of the Capital Markets Act and Part II of the Capital Markets (Collective Investment Schemes) Regulations, 2001.The Fund invests in Sub Saharan African public markets, providing our clients with access to a wide basket of truly diversified investments.

The Fund is specifically coined to capture the African growth story. This is a uniquely distinguishing feature from other currently available schemes in the market. Africa presents a largely under-explored investment arena. Its economies and capital markets are still over-looked and under-researched by many, hence offering excellent return opportunities for the far-sighted investor.

The Fund has four sub funds designed to meet the needs of investors with different risk-return profiles. These are: Africa Equity Fund, Africa Balanced Fund, Africa Fixed Income Fund and Africa Money Market Fund.

A collective investment scheme collects and pools funds from the public or a section of the public for the purpose of investment.
